ASRC Builders seeks a Site Administrator for a project located at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska with demonstrated experience with multiple types of complex federal construction projects, including US Army Corps of Engineers vertical projects. Relocation is not available however lodging and meals will be provided. Residents of Alaska may be given preference.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The desired candidate should have demonstrated training and certification in the project administration field working with multiple management levels. The Site Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Schedule, create and publish meeting agendas and minutes for all project meetings
  • Maintain and organize all site project documentation, including daily reports, equipment logs, fuel logs, quality control reports, safety and environmental reports and any other routine documentation related to the project
  • Coordinate all project logistics including housing, travel and ground transportation for all project personnel
  • Assist site personnel with daily project-related activities such as coordinating inspections, scheduling meetings and facilitating Government requests
  • Coordinate and streamline on-site project communications
  • Assist the home office management staff with project-related duties
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to proficiently use basic PC applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the actions, values, and behaviors that constitute a strong safety culture, and integrate these values within existing corporate business and Inupiat Cultures

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints 

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Talk, hear, stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities include: close\distance focus, color\peripheral vision, depth perception 

Work Environment

  • The floor plan consists of offices, work stations and jobsites
  • The noise level is usually moderate
  • The work is in a fast-paced team environment and requires collaboration with a variety of departments and ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks through completion
