JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the SVP of Shareholder & Community Engagement, this position will coordinate and provide administrative support for ongoing projects on behalf of ASRC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the company's Shareholder Community Programs, Healthy Communities, Village Programs, Community Development/Engagement, and Arctic Education Foundation through project coordination, stakeholder communication, and operational assistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)
Coordinate and provide administrative support for Shareholder & Community Engagement projects. Assist in developing processes to facilitate project completion, monitor progress, and maintain documentation of results and outcomes.
Track and report on community events to identify outreach opportunities. Coordinate internal and external resources using project management best practices to support successful outreach activities and project implementation.
Serve as a liaison between senior management and appropriate corporate departments regarding community relations and ASRC initiatives of interest to ASRC shareholders and North Slope residents in the Arctic Region.
Maintain professional relationships and facilitate information exchange with internal departments and external entities, including ASRC shareholders and the general public.
Coordinate project communications to meet stakeholder needs, including preparing program status updates, briefing materials, and presentations for management, other departments, and internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and communicate project risks and issues. Coordinate with appropriate internal and external resources to proactively address and resolve concerns as they arise.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to shareholders, clients, and other employees of the corporation.
As authorized by the SVP, Stakeholder Engagement, support the day-to-day operations of the SCP Department during their absence. This includes assisting with personnel coordination, scheduling, interview logistics, training coordination, and employee communications as necessary.
Some travel required to attend shareholder meetings, community events, and engagement activities across regional locations.
