The Housekeeper cleans the workforce camp, consisting of up to 15 guest rooms with 24 beds and 6 bathrooms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Emptying and replacing trash bins in rooms and public areas.
- Change and launder all guest room bed linens and towels.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas. Shampoo carpets when needed.
- Sweep and mop all linoleum and floor tiled areas, moving all movable items, chairs, wastebaskets, etc. as needed to clean under and around. Replace items in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Dust and polish all open visible surfaces, including guest room furniture, tables, desks, file cabinets, door frames, windowsills, etc., being careful to not disturb files, paperwork, personal belongings, or computers that are left on. Wash and clean furniture upholstery as needed.
- Clean and maintain all break stations.
- Clean and disinfect toilets and showers in bathrooms. Clean and disinfect bathroom countertops, sinks, and other fixtures. Clean and disinfect walls, stalls, and floors. Maintain adequate supply of tissue, towels in bathrooms.
- Inspect and clean guest room walls, doors, glass doors, and windows on a routine basis.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Notify Management with concerns for repairs and maintenance and anything of questionable condition, including broken doors, locks, windows, fixtures, lights, leaks, holes, etc. Change light bulbs as needed. Shovel entrances as needed.
- Responsible for security of all areas under his/her scope of work, including locking guest rooms, entrances, and windows, and turning off all lights.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- General knowledge of operation of janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals and their use.
- Ability to obtain a Blood Borne Pathogens certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain a SHARPS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain base access requirements.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to obtain any medical clearances required for the position.
Preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting, bending, wiping, stair stepping, pulling.

The work environment is a large facility used for house and feeding construction workers.
