**This is a full-time temporary project based position expected to be completed on or around October 2021 and will offer 401K with no additional benefits**


The Cost Scheduler is responsible for designing and tracking detailed project work schedules and leading the document management process based on scope, schedule, and budget baseline projections established by the project manager, project controls, and customer representatives.



  • Determine schedule requirements based on contract documents and coordination with project discipline leads.
  • Develop and implement documentation processes for all project phases in compliance with Company and customer requirements.
  • Generate detailed project schedule and sub schedules based on customer specifications, software preference, and work breakdown structure.
  • Apply code of accounts to work breakdown structure.
  • Maintain and update critical path management (CPM) schedules and resource allocation charts.
  • Update and adjust schedules and identify resource requirements in coordination with project managers and project engineers.
  • Process, distribute, and archive project documentation in coordination with project managers, discipline and design leads, supervisors, and customers.
  • Upload and download project documentation in document management systems to prepare reports for project scheduling and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure final documentation packages are issued and distributed to recipients as directed by the project manager and customer.
  • Provide input to project execution plan development.
  • Provide cost tracking reports to project manager
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support the AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of three (3)  years of experience handling cost scheduling for North Slope projects required.
  • A minimum of 1 year working knowledge of project document management and electronic document management required.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Primavera required.



  • Bachelor degree in related field preferred.



  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE), or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification required.

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:                                                               

  • Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.                         
  • Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
  • Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
