The ASRC Facilities Laborer is a temporary, non-exempt position that will assist the ASRC Facilities Department move furniture, equipment, files, and like objects. Essential duties and responsibilities can include picking up and moving boxes of chairs, desks, office material, and other assigned tasks.
This position requires physical labor and repetitive movement for at least 8 hours per day (some limited overtime may be available or required). The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, lift up to 60 pounds, take instruction and execute tasks, a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to work in close proximity to others in a professional and respectful way and adherence to confidentiality requirements are required for this position.
