Entry-level IT position that works under the direction of the Computer Helpdesk Lead.  This position is part of the Helpdesk team that responds to direct requests from internal customers for service and support.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)
1. Works with customer, over the phone, to isolate root cause of IT related problems through level 1 diagnostics.
2. Responds to technical service requests from internal customers via phone, fax, E-mail or in person.
3. Logs and manages cases in the Altiris Ticketing System and acts as coordinator of cases between technicians and customer.
4. Other duties include managing Work Requests and Purchasing Request.


1. 0 – 2 years of experience in Computer Helpdesk environment
2. Proven abilities to perform basic PC hardware repair and configuration
3. Working knowledge of MS Office applications
4. Detail oriented
5. Customer service skills
