***This is a full-time temporary position.***


This is an administrative support position for the Billing & Timekeeping Department. Primary responsibilities are the processing of employee timesheet information and equipment usages for cost tracking, payroll functions and client invoicing. The selected candidate must have good analysis, math/accounting skills for reconciling daily and weekly reports as they relate to payroll and client invoicing. Must demonstrate ability to use a variety of software programs including MS Word, Excel, Oracle and/or e-mail and have excellent organizational skills in maintaining accounting information and confidential employee information. Knowledge of standard office equipment such as photocopiers, facsimiles, personal computers and telephone systems, proficiency with computer 10-key pads or calculators and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.  The ability to follow procedures and established guidelines is also required along with being able to work independently when needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED)

 

  • Type, copy, sort, file and archive documentation as required.
  • Verify, enter and distribute data and records. 
  • Respond to phone inquiries.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

 


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years related experience or training required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred. Experience using Oracle preferred. 


CERTIFICATIONS

No certifications required.

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:                                                               


 

  • Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy
  • Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.                         
  • Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
  • Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.

 


The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company’s continued operational needs once training is completed.
