The ASRC Internship program is an employment and training opportunity for ASRC Shareholders that are current college, vocational and college/vocational-bound students. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)

  • Placement is determined by the student’s area of study and department availability across multiple business areas, including finance, legal, human resources (HR), information technology (IT), and more.
  • By working alongside seasoned professionals, interns will be provided with a paid opportunity to build self-confidence, industry specific knowledge, and soft skills that are highly marketable in any industry.
  • The ASRC Internship program will provide a structured work environment and learning opportunities. Learning opportunities will include, but are not limited to; research, on-the-job training, job-shadowing, and completion of special projects. 
  • Participants will engage in different activities according to their departmental placement. For example, participants placed in the Human Resources division may gain skills relating to data entry, communication, recruitment, onboarding, customer service, data research, and report compilation.
  • In addition to placement responsibilities, students receive mentorship, leadership engagement, and networking opportunities through a series of professional development and cultural awareness activities.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Currently enrolled in an educational institution or vocational training program
  • Must maintain a nine-credit minimum course load the duration of the program
  • Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 or higher
