Equipment Coordinator – ASRC Energy Services, LLC

JOB SUMMARY

The Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for tracking locations, identifying underutilized assets, tracking accessories, prioritizing repairs and tracking & documenting damaged equipment for over 300 pieces of leased rental equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

      Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and tracked to create efficient equipment management process

      Analise existing operations, maximizing efficiency identify un-needed and un-fit equipment

      Coordinate mobilizations and demobilization

      Build and Maintain computer-based data base

      Coordinate and prioritize repair plans

      Interface & Coordinate with Camp and logistics Supervisors for labor support

      Single point of contact for all equipment rentals

      Manages all rental equipment inventory

o   Track locations and contractors use of the equipment

o   Stage appropriate amount of equipment for backups

o   Log all down time for maintenance and repairs

o   Track equipment accessories like duck ponds and heater trunks

o   Document and track down equipment to identify excessive down time on leased equipment

o   Track cost of repairs and cause/responsible party for all damaged or neglected

o   Prioritize repair schedules

      Uses Samsara to monitor use/hours/maintenance

o   Schedule equipment for periodic service appropriate vendors mechanics

o   Track repair schedule

o   Identify underutilized/Unnecessary equipment

      Inspect and label all equipment that is ready for field use

      Arrange for transportation of equipment to and from field locations through Alaska Logistics team

      Additional duties as required

      Reports to Alaska NS Camps Supervisor

      Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures

      Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

      A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

      Valid Driver’s License

      Two years of experience coordinating either equipment, materials or people on a large-scale project

      Arctic experience on large scale projects

      Oil field experience is preferred.

      2+ years of experience in construction project logistics; preferably in the oil and gas industry

      Operational knowledge of normal arctic rental equipment (heaters, light plants, bull rails, generators, man lifts, forklifts, loaders, envirovacs)

      Experience in Alaskan Arctic is preferable.

      Ability to oversee multiple activities simultaneously and perform under pressure.

      Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

      Strong analytical and organizational skills.

      Displays tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to support the larger team and activities as needed even if considered out of scope (be part of a strong team)

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you.  All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms.   Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift.  Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp.  Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc.  Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:                                                              

      Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.

      Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing. 

      Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.                    

      Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam 

      Required to complete and successfully pass a background check. 

      Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
